Any recommendation for an adjectives exercise bike to purchase?

I have have a good schwinn that I lick into the ground and finally broke off the pedel. I am a nouns person who if pretty fit, usually jog, but wants a correct quaility bike that you can stand up to do a workout. I am willing to spend some money, but looking for a flawless bike.
